Attention Acupuncture Professionals!
The California Acupuncture Board (Board) and the Office of Professional Examination Services (OPES) are recruiting licensed acupuncturists to assist with development of the California Acupuncture Licensing Examination (CALE) and the occupational analysis of the acupuncturist profession in California.
We are looking for acupuncturists to serve as subject matter experts (SMEs) in workshops (that will be held in Sacramento) and in occupational analysis interviews (that will be conducted by telephone). We need SMEs with various levels of experience and from diverse practice settings. Licensees with less than 5 years of experience are especially needed to ensure that the licensure examination maintains an entry-level perspective.
Additionally, all aspects of examination development require participation of licensees who are fluent in Chinese or Korean language.

|Exam Construction||Licensees construct new versions of CALE.|
|Occupational Analysis Interviews|
Available interview times on each of the above listed dates are:
|This is a 30-minute to 1-hour telephone interview times.|
Test development specialist will ask questions regarding typical activities that are performed by acupuncturists in their regular job in order to develop a description of the acupuncturist practice in California.
