This therapy is performed in a very comfortable and relaxing environment and a session of this massage may last for duration of 30 minutes to an hour depending on the patient’s needs. It is generally carried out in a calm and quiet place with soothing music, comfortable lying bed/table and soft lights. The massage therapist begins by application of oil, gel or lotion to the skin as it facilitates the movement and reduces the friction.
