Ganjapreneur, a resource for cannabis professionals, recently interviewed Dale Sky Jones, president and CEO of the cannabis education institution Oaksterdam University, and Malcolm Youngren, COO of Pacific College, about the new collaboration between the two schools: the Medical Cannabis Certificate Program.
Jones discusses Oaksterdam’s long, difficult path, including a federal raid in 2012 that nearly destroyed the institution, while Youngren talks about the inception of the certificate program–the first of its kind in the US.
Visit Ganjapreneur for more about the certificate program, including who it’s for, Oaksterdam’s role in its its development, and a brief introduction to a few of the program’s faculty members: Pacific College’s Dr. Carey Clark and Dr. Denis Foster, both part of the American Cannabis Nurses Association, and Oaksterdam’s Natalie Darves and Paul Armentano.
