Hal Asbury

Hal Asbury earned his MSOM degree in 2005, and had a practice that utilized acupuncture, tui na, and Chinese herbal medicine until 2017. He has taught, at various times, tui na, and Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine 3 at Pacific College since 2009.  Asbury earned his DACM from Pacific College in 2018 and studied tui na and East Asian medical theory privately with Tom Bisio. Later, he studied with both Tom Bisio and Frank Butler in Zheng Gu techniques, tui na, and orthopedic acupuncture. Hal is the author of Pronunciation of Chinese Medicine Terms in Mandarin and Cantonese and Master Gong’s Single Herb Verses: 400 Single Herbs Essential Information, a translation of verses from noted Ming Dynasty physician Gong Ting-Xian.
