Pacific College of Health and Science is hiring for the on-ground full-time position of Campus Director at our San Diego campus.
Position Overview:Â
The Campus Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall management for the College campus, ensuring alignment and communication of the College’s mission, goals, and policies. They strategically manage staff, faculty, facility, and resources ensuring that staff is trained and maximized to support student success. The Campus Director also manages the overall business operations and daily budget decisions for the campus. They help remedy student concerns and work with various campus departments to help students achieve their educational goals. The Campus Director also ensures ongoing compliance with state, federal, and accrediting bodies is maintained and that current regulations are followed.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Directs the activities of all campus employees.
- Oversees Administrative and Clinical
- Mentoring the Director of Clinical Services in clinic management
- Oversee clinic staffing plan & ongoing training needs.
- Support and advise on budgets, capacity report and development of best practices in clinic management.
- Collaborate with Campus Safety Officer on safety reports and trainings.
- Communicates daily or as needed with the College President & CEO regarding college business and policy determinations and the smooth flow of activities at the college.
- Responsible for the campus budget and P&L.
- Oversees building maintenance and equipment upkeep.
- Keeps community members informed about activities, concerns, plans on and off campus.
- Communicates regularly with department managers to ensure smooth and efficient running of the college.
- Prepares the Campus Safety Report yearly and ensure compliance with licenses.
- Supports Admissions leadership and the Admissions team for more effective recruitment efforts.
- Follows and enforces the guidelines of the Employee Handbook and Faculty Manual.
- Coordinates cross-department strategies for community outreach and
- Manages Federal Work Study resources to align with campus needs.
- Coordinates contracts for campus events/rentals.
- Make decisions and recommendations about cancellations or addition of classes to the class schedule or class sizes
Staff Development & Training:
- Conducts interviews and hires all administrative campus positions.
- Leads all staff meetings once per term.
- Meets as needed with individual managers and at least once a month with the management team to help ensure smooth and efficient running of the College and full performance of job duties.
- Focuses on the development of college employees through training and coaching.
- Participates in Faculty meetings.
Reporting/Accountability & Institutional Needs:
- Creates term reports for the Board of Directors.Â
- Creates and coordinates administrative policies and procedures for the campus with other Campus
- Consults with other Campus Directors and the President & CEO regarding questions, concerns, policy and procedure,
- Ensures the campus knows and participates in the creation and adherence to the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of the College.
- Maintains relationships & contracts with all campus vendors.
- Ensures the use of the College catalog by employees and students and recommends changes, additions, and deletions.
- Approves the faculty selection and budgetary allotment for new positions.
- Approves time & attendance hours for hourly staff direct campus reports on a biweekly basis.
Student Support:
- Remedies student concerns, complaints, grievances, and investigations, as necessary.
- Supports Student Council.
- Oversees and leads the coordination and planning for student events, such as graduation, town halls, and campus updates.
- Communicates campus news and academic information via campus-wide updates via email or ComFeed.
Education, Experience & Job Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable area.
- Ability to successfully manage a workload and balance long-range
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Excellent team building and leadership skills
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree strongly preferred in areas of compliance or business.
- More than five years of experience in running a business or college.
- Strong preference given to knowledge of Pacific College.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation. Able to work sitting or standing at a desk and operate a computer using keyboard and reading information on a monitor.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 annually
