About the Instructor:

Keith has been studying qigong for health since he was 7, when Western doctors diagnosed he would be confined to a wheelchair within a few years. He began studying martial arts when he was 10 and started teaching when he was in his teens. He has studied martial arts in the US and overseas, specializing in Chinese martial and healing arts, seeing them as all parts of one greater whole. In recent years, he has learned from more than one Chinese master in his lifelong journey into the deeper levels of Chen and Yang family taiji, qigong, and wushu (Chinese martial arts). Keith is certified by the American Tai Chi & Qigong Association as an advanced instructor. He teaches martial arts at Focus Tai Chi while pursuing his doctor of Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago.
