Dr. Carey Clark, Pacific College Medical Cannabis Faculty, Interviewed by NurseDeck

An extensive interview with Carey Clark, PhD, RN, who not only teaches for but developed the Medical Cannabis Certificate program at Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, was featured by the most recent NurseDeck Magazine: An Insider’s Perspective of Nursing. Clark is also the immediate past president of the American Cannabis Nurses Association. Most recently, she edited the Wolters-Kuhlwer textbook Cannabis: A Handbook for Nurses.

The article, “Pushing the Boundaries on Holistic & Cannabis Nursing”, discusses how she got started in nursing, then holistic nursing, and onward into how she became so heavily involved in cannabis nursing specifically. Clark also goes to talk about the state of medical cannabis education in the current healthcare landscape, and the crucial role of the cannabis nurse.
