Peak performance–the drive to become your most optimal self–has become a focus point of the vast $9.9 billion self-improvement industry over the past few years. Just one aspect of peak performance, health coaching, has emerged as a significant portion of that industry, to the tune of $6 billion and growing. Peak performance isn’t just for athletes, however: “In actuality, peak performance means becoming your optimal self in all aspects of life and touches on things such as interpersonal relationships, physical performance, work productivity, and nutrition,” says Leena Guptha, PCOM’s Academic Dean of Online Education.

Guptha introduces the Wheel of Health, a guide to understanding how the aspects of your life affect your mind and your performance, and how it guides you to make changes that can aid in your quest for peak performance. She also presents four tips for self-care to improve performance and make these times of great political and social upheaval easier to bear.
