Shoutout Socal recently featured Dr. Kolin Durrant, DACM, LAc. He was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis while he was both working and two years into his doctoral program at Pacific College. He soldiered through: “I graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science cum laude, received my master’s and doctorate, passed boards, and got licensed both in California and nationally, all while maintaining my position at Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, a nonprofit that supports trial lawyers in Southern California.”
What he didn’t realize was that his doctoral education would lead him to specialize in autoimmunity, chronic conditions, immune health, and functional medicine!
