The PCHS transitional doctoral program was an invaluable experience. As our field of Eastern medicine gains a more respected and integrated role in today’s modern healthcare system, our need to be responsible practitioners has never been more crucial. As Eastern medicine practitioners, it is our responsibility to present ourselves in the manner that we want to be acknowledged. This includes how we represent ourselves, as well as how we educate ourselves. The exceptional knowledge, skill, and professionalism offered in the PCHS transitional doctoral program improved my research and diagnostic skills, enhanced my critical thinking and professional judgment, and helped me to comfortably communicate with the medical profession and other healthcare professionals. Completing this program opened the door for advanced professional and personal opportunities. I am grateful for my PCHS transitional doctoral program experience.
