Pacific College Opens Low Cost Clinic to Public

Pacific College of Oriental Medicine is proud to announce the opening of its low cost public clinic in Chicago. The clinic will serve area residents by providing affordable acupuncture, Chinese massage and herbal consultations. Rates at the clinic are $25 per treatment for the general public and $15 per treatment for students and senior citizens. A physician’s referral is required.

Pacific College of Oriental Medicine was founded in 1986 and has additional campuses in San Diego and New York. It is the largest college of Oriental Medicine in the nation, and has received numerous prestigious honors including being the recipient of a National Institutes of Health research grant, and being named one of the best colleges of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the country by TCM World Newspaper.

As part of its internship-training program, Pacific College operates low-cost on-site public clinics, as well as student internships at clinics and hospitals in the local community. The college is also the publisher of the national newspaper Oriental Medicine and sponsor of the annual Pacific Symposium, a continuing education event for licensed acupuncturists and other health care professionals. Pacific College is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and its Illinois campus is located at 3646 N. Broadway in Chicago.
