Pacific College Job Announcement – Adjunct Faculty – New York Campus

Pacific College of Health and Science is seeking Adjunct Faculty members to teachย  the following courses to BSN Nursing students on our New York Campus:

  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Microbiology Labs

Faculty will follow standard lesson plans and coordinate with the didactic faculty, as necessary. Lab courses meet for 3 hours each week over a 15-week semester. Faculty may have the opportunity to teach didactic courses remotely in an asynchronous format.

ย Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in biology or related life or clinical science. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience in Anatomy and Physiology or Microbiology.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred, but willing to support colleagues wishing to include teaching as part of their career
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary Expectations:ย Adjunct Arts and Sciences Faculty Pay Rates; $3,375.00 per course, per semester. This includes 15 weeks of instruction, lab set-up and clean up.

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation. Able to work sitting or standing at a desk and operate a computer using keyboard and reading information on a monitor.
