Yahaira is highly passionate about educating her community on the benefits of massage and holistic medicine as a preventative approach to illness and its benefits towards a generally healthier lifestyle. She is also aware of the barriers to finding affordable quality bilingual wellness services within her community, which is why Yahaira’s massage studio is located within the targeted community she seeks to teach and impact, by providing affordable comprehensive services. Yahaira made Pacific College history as the first EDI Teaching Fellow. She teaches Western Massage 1 and serves as clinical supervisor in the massage therapy program at PCHS-NY.
