Jerry is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT #52696) and a Certified Massage Therapist. He earned a Masterโs degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, as well as a Masterโs degree in Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island. His extensive training includes the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and internal arts in China, Traditional Thai Massage in Thailand, initiation into the Qโero Inka medicine traditions in Peru, and earning a diploma in Visionary Craniosacral Work.
Drawing on this diverse background, Jerry integrates wisdom from Eastern, Western, and indigenous traditions, with a focus on the mind-body connection to foster healing and growth. His therapeutic approach is depth-oriented and body-centered, with special emphasis on sex therapy, relational therapy, and trauma work. He provides a safe, supportive environment in which clients and students can deepen their understanding of lifeโs challenges and move toward meaningful goals with authenticity and fulfillment.
Since 2013, Jerry has served as an adjunct faculty member at Pacific College of Health & Science, where he teaches graduate-level Clinical Counseling courses in the Clinical Practice Department. In the Asian Holistic Health and Massage Department, he teaches Craniosacral Work I. His teaching style, like his clinical practice, is body-centered, depth-oriented, and informed by Eastern, Western, and indigenous traditions. He is dedicated to helping students develop the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively and compassionately with their own clients.
Before joining Pacific College, Jerry taught for over a decade at Mueller College of Holistic Studies.
Jerryโs teaching and clinical work are guided by his intention to help people grow in ways that enhance happiness and improve the quality of their relationships with themselves, others, and life itself. He brings together clinical expertise, holistic health knowledge, and cross-cultural training to create a unique, integrative approach to psychotherapy and education.
