Lang, Anthony, HHP

Anthony Lang is a Holistic Health Practitioner with 20 years of clinical experience in orthopedic and sports massage. He attended the Pacific College of Health and Science where he studied Tui Na massage. He went on to receive advanced certifications in neuromuscular therapy (NMT), orthopedic massage, Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT), and myofascial release techniques (MRT). In addition to his busy private practice, he has been teaching massage and bodywork classes throughout San Diego since 2003. He was first introduced to “alternative medicine” at a young age from his first martial arts instructor. It was this combination of the martial arts and healing arts that has shaped his life for the past thirty-four years. He continues to train in and teach self defense and personal protection in hand-to-hand combatives. Anthony refers to himself as a “recovering” endurance athlete having completed multiple marathons and triathlons (including 3 Ironman distances). He now spends his time learning to play the guitar (much easier on the body, not so much on the ears) and watching his wife and daughter master their equestrian skills.
