Deborah is the Academic Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the San Diego campus. She holds a master’s of arts degree in human behavior, a bachelor’s of science degree in holistic nutrition from Clayton College, over nineteen years of experience in massage therapy, and over fourteen years of experience in proprietary education, administration, and program direction. She is currently in practice as a holistic health practitioner. Before coming to Pacific College, she was the education director at Mueller College, where she managed nationally accredited programs in holistic health, hypnotherapy, personal fitness and alcohol and drug counseling. Prior to Mueller, she was the allied health department chair at Remington College, where she managed nationally-accredited programs in medical assisting and massage therapy. Prior to Remington, she was the massage therapy program coordinator at the Academy of Professional Careers, responsible for two campuses and the massage clinics. In addition, she has spent twelve years in the United States Coast Guard as an Independent Duty Corpsman.
