Dr. Matthew Silengo, earned his B.A. in accounting from the University of Miami before earning his masterโ€™s in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego in 2009, followed by his doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2017. Prior to beginning his studies in Chinese medicine, Matthew worked as a certified personal fitness trainer. Matthew now combines his knowledge from both of these fields to help patients who are aspiring to achieve optimal physical, mental, and spiritual health. Matthew practices in San Diego, where he treats a variety of patient complaints including orthopedic injuries, overuse syndromes, and internal complaints (i.e. digestive problems, anxiety, migraines, insomnia, etc.). He has been teaching at Pacific College of Health and Science, San Diego for 12 years. He currently teaches two anatomy and physiology courses and two pathophysiology courses and serves as the department chair of the bioscience department. He has previously served as chair of the curriculum and program review committee and chair of faculty governance.
