Pacific College is seeking an experienced and visionary individual for the full-time position of Integrative Health Nursing Faculty in our innovative BSN program at our New York campus.

Position Description:

The Integrative Health Nursing Faculty member will play a pivotal role in embedding pre-licensure nursing students into a high-volume integrative health clinic that specializes in acupuncture, massage, and other complementary modalities. The faculty member will supervise students onsite, ensuring delivery of safe, holistic care while evaluating clinical performance based on key nursing competencies. The successful candidate will also help forge and lead the development of a pioneering interprofessional model of integrative health care, expanding the role of nursing in non-traditional care settings. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of nursing by bridging conventional and holistic practices in a clinical environment that prioritizes mind-body-spirit healing.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support BSN students in the integrative health clinic to ensure safe and effective nursing care.
  • Evaluate student clinical performance in accordance with program competencies and course outcomes.
  • Coach students in holistic nursing approaches and integrative care delivery.
  • Provide instruction and mentorship on integrative health modalities (e.g., guided imagery, aromatherapy, acupressure, breathwork, Reiki).
  • Lead quality improvement (QI) initiatives to integrate nursing services within the clinic’s existing workflows.
  • Identify and advocate for expanded nursing roles within the integrative health clinic setting.
  • Collaborate with acupuncture and other complementary health professionals to foster interdisciplinary learning.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of curriculum related to integrative health and holistic nursing.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, program assessment, and accreditation activities
  • Engage in professional development related to integrative health and nursing education
  • Maintain documentation of student progress and clinical site engagement as required by the program.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State
  • Graduate degree in Nursing (MSN or higher) from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated experience in integrative health or holistic nursing practice
  • Prior clinical teaching or preceptorship experience preferred
  • Certification in holistic nursing or related modality (preferred but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to innovative nursing education and interprofessional collaboration

Salary Expectations: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 annually

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation. Able to work sitting or standing at a desk and operate a computer using keyboard and reading information on a monitor.
