Pacific College of Health and Science is seeking a reliable and professional part-time Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Exam Proctor at our New York campus to administer and monitor the TEAS for prospective nursing students.ย This position is approximately 25-28 hours per week including some Saturdays.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Prepare testing materials and verify candidate identification.
- Administer TEAS examinations in accordance with testing policies and procedures.
- Monitor examinees during testing to ensure a secure and distraction-free environment.
- Enforce exam rules and maintain testing integrity.
- Assist candidates with check-in and basic testing procedures.
- Complete required testing documentation and report any irregularities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and maintain confidentiality.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Prior testing, proctoring, educational, or administrative experience preferred.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation. Able to work sitting or standing at desk and operate a computer using keyboard and reading information on a monitor.
Salary Expectations: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
