Pacific College is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the onsite part-time position of Director of Clinical Education & Compliance at our Chicago campus. This role is scheduled for 16 hours per week.
Position Overview:
The Director of Clinical Education & Compliance provides academic leadership, clinical oversight, and regulatory governance for the Collegeโs teaching clinic(s). This role ensures high-quality clinical education, appropriate faculty supervision, student development, and full compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
This position serves as the College authority for clinical standards, compliance, and quality assurance within the clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Education & Faculty Leadership
- Lead all clinical education activities within the teaching clinic
- Hire, onboard, train, and evaluate clinic faculty and supervisors
- Ensure alignment between clinic operations and academic program objectives
- Support student learning, evaluation, and professional development
Compliance, Risk & Quality Assurance
- Serve as institutional lead for HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable clinical regulations
- Oversee malpractice coverage for faculty and students
- Develop, maintain, and update clinic policies and manuals
- Lead or participate in quality assurance and compliance committees
Student & Academic Collaboration
- Coordinate with academic leadership on student schedules and placements
- Monitor student attendance and clinic participation requirements
- Conduct clinic orientations and academic presentations
Clinical Partnerships & Institutional Representation
- Develop and maintain off-site clinical partnerships
- Ensure external sites meet educational and regulatory standards
- Represent the College in professional and community settings
Reporting Relationship:
- Reports to: Campus Director
- Supervises: Clinic supervisors and students
- Works closely with: Clinic Operations Manager and Clinic Office Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Masterโs or higher-level degree required
- Active clinical license as required by state law
- Minimum 5 years of licensed clinical experience
- Experience in clinical education, faculty supervision, or academic healthcare leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree
- Experience with accreditation, quality assurance, or regulatory audits

Salary Expectations: Approximately $40.00-$50.00 per hour.
