2020 REFUND POLICY FOR ONLINE SYMPOSIUM
Pacific Symposium hopes everyone who registers for the conference will be able to attend; however, we understand that extenuating circumstances do occur. Recognizing the possible continuation of disruption by COVID, Pacific Symposium offers the following cancellation options:
Streaming Symposium webinars do count as participating in a Live class as you will have real time access to the instructor for questions and comments. Our On-Demand classes are recorded webinars and are counted as Distance Learning by most regulatory agencies such as NCCAOM and California Acupuncture Board. Please check with your local/state licensing agency for rules and regulations on how many Distance Learning credits you can use in your renewal process.
People can sign up for live streaming sessions right up to the event start time.
When you enter the live webinar meeting room, the system creates a record of your name and the start time. Every time you leave the room, the system updates the record to reflect that you left. When you re-enter the room, a new record will be created. When the event is over, all records in your name are added up by the system to reflect your total time of attendance. Attendees will receive full credit as long as they are present for 85% of the lecture.
Please be aware that if your computer crashes or goes to sleep, you will be logged out until you re-enter the room. We are not able to award credit for people who were unable to attend at least 85% of an event due to technical reasons. However, we will issue a credit in such situations. Please review the technical requirements for attending live webinars.
