Pacific College of Health and Science is hiring for a full-time Clinical Services Assistant at our New York Campus.
The Clinical Services Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the clinic under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Services Manager. Accuracy and attention to detail are very important with particular attention to scheduling and rescheduling patients and inventory of supplies and financial procedures. This position must have a broad understanding of the goals of Pacific College and the structure and the benefits of its academic and clinical program. Customer and student service are key to this position. Staff must have the ability to present the Health Service and it’s benefits in a positive, persuasive, and professional fashion to individuals and groups in brief and to resolve any issues that may arise in the delivery of these services.
- Open and close the Health Service and Herbal Dispensary area daily as appropriate.
- Answer telephones and schedule appointments for treatment.
- Greet and check in patients entering PCWC for treatment.
- Check patients out and take payment for services and products received.
- Monitor and request clinical supplies through Assistant Manager.
- Conduct inventory for treatment rooms and clerical supplies.
- File and maintain patient Clinical Services charts.
- Assist Director of Clinical Services / Asst. Clinical Services Manager with administrative duties as required.
Education and Experience:
Academic: Associates Degree preferred
Professional: 2 years clerical, marketing or related job experience preferred
