Coming Out of the Shell: Dorian Kramer’s Transitional Doctorate Experience

Dorian G. Kramer DACM, LAc: “The transitional doctoral program was an excellent choice on a number of levels. Since it was online I was able to work a full course load into my schedule while maintaining a full time practice, dealing with a pandemic, moving to a new state and starting a new career as a professor at the East West College of Natural Medicine. The program helped me to view greater possibilities for our medicine, especially in the idea of incorporating it into an allopathic setting, being involved in research, and actually exploring how to improve access to our medicine at a national level. I feel this program encourages us to come out of our acupuncture shells and incorporate with and provide influence to the rest of our country’s medical system.”
