Vavrinchik, David, LAc, MS

David Vavrinchik, M.S., L.Ac., received his Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science and is licensed in the state of Illinois. He is also board certified by the NCCAOM in the practice of both acupuncture and herbal medicine. Previous to his training in oriental medicine, David’s background was in western medicine. He is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical Center Respiratory Care Program, Chicago, and has been a registered Respiratory Therapist since 1979. Dave has a private practice with offices in both Elmhurst and Oak Park, Illinois. In addition to his practice, he is employed as a staff acupuncturist and herbalist for Evanston Northwestern Hospital’s Integrative Medicine Program, under the direction of Karen Koffler, M.D..  Mr. Vavrinchik teaches the  “Treatment of Orthopedic Disorders” on the Chicago campus, , as well as supervising in the college clinic.
