Smith, Anna, LAc, MPH, DACM

Anna has had a lifelong career in healthcare, and before completing her MSTOM and DACM at PCHS-San Diego, she worked as a registered nurse, earned a Master of Public Health degree, and spent more than 15 years in the CAM field as an educator and private practitioner of clinical massage therapy. Her primary professional interests are in education, Japanese Meridian Therapy and application of research to practice. She lives in Carlsbad, CA with her husband David and divides her time between teaching, semi-retirement, and running the nonprofit Foundation For Acupuncture Research, which she founded with the goal of supporting acupuncture research.
