Xin Zheng received her medical and PhD degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, one of the top four TCM university in China; and Masters degree in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture institute of China Academy of TCM, The leading TCM institution in China. After complete 3 years of residency in Beijing Acupuncture institute and 1 years of specialist training in neurology at Beijing Youyi hospital. She practiced acupuncture and Chinese Herbology as an attending physician and completed acupuncture anaesthesia research at the Acupuncture Institute in Beijing. , 1995-1996 she went UK for postdoctoral research. Shortly after she came to the U.S. in 1996, she began teaching acupuncture and Chinese Medicine as a professor at Eastern school of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine, Pacific College of Health and Science, New York college of Traditional Chinese Medicine, She also practice acupuncture and herbology in New Jersey and New York.
