Sandra Maldonado earned her Doctor of Education from Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership, Walden University. She acquired a Post-Master’s certificate in Nursing Education from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, as well as a Post-Master’s certificate in Nurse Midwifery from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She holds a MS in Nursing from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, a BS in Nursing from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, College of Nursing, and a BS in Health Sciences from Hunter College. Sandra is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife and Advanced Practice Colposcopist with sold experience in providing primary and specialized health care to patients, from adolescence through adulthood. Her clinical experience has focused on wellness care, health promotion, disease prevention, and diagnostic management. She has significant experience in providing primary care to medically, socially, and economically disadvantaged families. Her background encompasses nursing education in undergraduate, simulation learning, and post-graduate degree programs. She has established her reputation as women’s health care resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.
