Gayle D. Jones PhD, MPH, CHES is a public health professional with over 12 years of experience in health education, chronic disease, community health, health policy, and program management with diverse populations. As a public health professional, Dr. Jones worked on the local, regional, and state level and collaborated with numerous community-based, state, and federal organizations to advance the mission of public health and improve health outcomes.
Dr. Jones started sharing her professional experience by teaching approximately 10 years ago serving as public health faculty at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, she has served as a student and faculty mentor, developed curriculum, served as a consultant, and guided graduate students through public health research.
Dr. Jones holds a doctorate in Public Health from Walden University, a Master of Public Health (Health Administration) from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor of Science (Biology) from the University of South Carolina Aiken. She is also a certified health education specialist.
