Fong, Mary, DACM, LAc, QME

Mary is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and a licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist. She was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. After earning her BA degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, she took a job teaching English in Japan. She has travelled extensively in southeast Asia. In 1997, she earned her Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine at PCHS, graduating summa cum laude. She then studied Chinese Medicine for several months in Beijing, China. Mary has worked in private practice for about 15 years with a focus in acupuncture orthopedics. She also worked for a health insurance company for 6 years doing medical review and volunteered at the San Diego Cancer Research Institute (SDCRI) to provide free acupuncture services to cancer patients. Mary is a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California. Her goal is to bring acupuncture and Oriental Medicine into the daily lives of people everywhere.
