Licensure and Certification Examinations

Pacific College (San Diego and New York) is approved by the California Acupuncture Board. Graduates of the M.S. (Traditional Oriental Medicine) programs are eligible to sit for the California Acupuncture Licensing Examination. Graduates of the Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine (Chicago) and the M.S. (Traditional Oriental Medicine) (San Diego and New York) are eligible to sit for the acupuncture and herbology certification examination administered by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Graduates of Pacific College’s M.S. (Acupuncture) program are eligible for the acupuncture examination only. Pacific has applied for California exam eligibility for its Chicago campus.
