Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Course of Study

Track 4: Evidence-Based Medicine

1. Clinical Research Methods 1(1.5 credits)
2. Clinical Research Methods 2 (1.5 credits)
3. Clinical Research Methods 3 (1.5 credits)
4. Clinical Research Proposal (1 credit)
5. Clinical Capstone Project 1 (1 credit)
6. Clinical Capstone Project 2 (1 credit)
7. Clinical Capstone Presentation (.5 credit)

This series of courses presents research methodology, including design and biostatistics along with problem-solving strategies to expand clinical reasoning and research abilities. They enable the doctoral fellow to validate their individual clinical conclusions, as well as the general principles of Chinese medicine, and to complete a research project worthy of a doctoral graduate.
