UCSD Free Clinics Project at Pacific Beach United Methodist Church

This is a busy clinic for the homeless and underserved that runs in collaboration with UCSD medical students and volunteer UCSD faculty physicians. It offers a great opportunity to interact with western medical professionals and future physicians. Interns see a wide variety of medical problems on a diverse population ranging from young adults to senior citizens. Currently, Pacific interns are collaborating with a research project on the efficacy of acupuncture dental anesthesia.
