Asian Body Therapy Programs - Chicago

Asian Bodywork Therapy Certificate

Asian Body Therapy (ABT) Diploma Program includes a minimum of 692 hours of instruction in Western and Asian bodywork therapies. This program presents a foundation in Oriental medical theory, as well as Asian body therapy. The ABT is designed for students who desire a better understanding of the theory behind many of the systems of Asian body therapy.

Having this allows the graduate to adapt bodywork routines to the specific needs of the patient. It is also useful for students considering a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. Many Master’s students pay their way through school doing Asian body therapy.

Graduates are eligible to apply for AOBTA certification and sit for the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine ABT exam.
