Admissions Requirements – Massage Therapy

Requirements for Massage Therapist/Asian Bodywork and Associate's Degrees

Candidates are accepted for entry each semester beginning in January, April/May, or September of each year. Students may enroll up to the first day of classes in any term, but should apply at least three months in advance. Classes are subject to closure or cancellation.

Admission is open to the following individuals:

  • Students who have a high school diploma or eqivalent (for example, a GED or state certified HS equivalency exam) or completion of a 2-year program acceptable for full credit to a bachelor degree program, and a 2.0 GPA.
  • Transfers from accredited colleges or universities, or acceptable massage training programs.
  • International students who meet academic, financial, health, and English language requirements.

Applicants must submit a completed application form with all supporting documentation and fees required on that form.

Applications are accepted continually throughout the year. An interview with a college admissions representative may be scheduled before or after submission of the application. Accepted students will be notified within 30 days.

Students in Pacific's Master of Science (Traditional Oriental Medicine) program in San Diego may earn a Massage Therapist certificate or an Associate degree while enrolled in the Master's degree program.  Master's degree classes may count for credit toward these programs.
