PACIFIC COLLEGE OF ORIENTAL MEDICINE
Pacific College has some great news for incoming students
planning to start the Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) program this Fall 2007 semester.
Currently we award two $500 Catherine Helm Scholarships to eligible students who have submitted a Catherine Helm essay. Effective this fall we are expanding the Catherine Helm Scholarships to four.
We have also created another scholarship called the
Joseph Lazzaro Memorial Scholarship, in honor of our late, founding President. There will be eight $1000 scholarships at each campus granted to new incoming students this fall.

To be eligible for either the Catherine Helm or Joseph Lazzaro Memorial Scholarships applicants must be fully admitted (fully accepted with all required paperwork submitted), have applied for financial aid and be determined eligible for need-based aid (usually the subsidized student loan) by the Pacific College Financial Aid Office.
The Joseph Lazzaro Scholarship is awarded based on undergraduate GPA, degree program, and short personal statement. Financial aid eligibility is a requirement. Winners of the Catherine Helm Scholarship are based on the personal statement and financial need. GPA is not a factor.
If you are planning to apply to PCOM and for financial aid and have not yet done so, or if you have outstanding admissions requirements, this is yet one more excellent reason to finalize your admission for Pacific College this fall!
