A student of the martial and healing arts of Asia for more than three decades, Mr. DeStefano received formal training in holistic health, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Asian bodywork therapy at the Acupressure Institute, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (China), the International Center for Reiki Training, and the Taoist Sanctuary of San Diego. A Holistic Health Practitioner with more than 1,200 hours of training in therapeutic massage and bodywork, and more than 600 hours in Chinese Tui Na Therapy. Mr. DeStefano is an American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA®) Certified Tui Na Practitioner, a California Certified Massage Therapist (CMT No. 12010) and is National Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. In addition to Tui Na, Mr. DeStefano is an attuned Usui‐Tibetan Reiki Master, and has studied Medical Qi Gong, Chinese fire cupping, Zen Shiatsu, Anma, Jin Shin Acupressure, Sports Massage, Myofacial Release, Circulatory Massage, Deep Tissue, and the external use of Chinese herbs for trauma.  Prior to devoting himself full‐time to the healing arts, he spent 18 years in the private and public sectors as an environmental scientist and program manager, focusing on the public health and policy aspects of air and water quality. Presently, Mr. DeStefano is completing a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine Degree at Emperor's College, with the goal of adding Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine to his repertoire.
