Melissa Cadogan, Dipl.OM, L.Ac. is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Massage Therapist in the state of Colorado and is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine and Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
She received her four year Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA and has also studied in hospitals throughout Beijing, China. She has had the opportunity to work in many rewarding environments such as the San Diego Children's Hospital: Pediatric Oncology and Pain Management Departments, the world-renowned San Diego Hospice, at centers for seniors and woman's health and fertility centers.

Melissa's Unique Treatment Style

Melissa's background in physiology, sports medicine, holistic nutrition, yoga and meditation have all come together to create an all encompassing approach to Chinese Medicine and health. Her training in the Japanese style of acupuncture, which is very subtle yet powerful, lends itself wonderfully to working with people that are sensitive to needles. Melissa's gentle and effective style of acupuncture is highly regarded among her patients. She has great success working with patients with lower back, neck & joint pain, reproductive concerns, gastrointestinal imbalances and stress conditions that affect every part of one=s optimal functioning and health.

Melissa also offers therapeutic massage modalities which include Acupressure, Shiatsu, Tui Na (traditional Chinese medical massage), Circulatory Massage and Reiki (energy work). She loves working with her patients to meet their desired health goals by utilizing her attentive listening skills, her compassion, knowledge and healing touch. Melissa would love to engage with you and be a part of your healing process by assisting your body, mind and spirit back to a state of optimal health and well-being.
