World Tai Ji & Qi Gong Day

Each year, students and faculty of Pacific College participate in World Tai Chi & Qi Gong Day in San Diego’s Balboa Park. Groups around the world gather at 10:00 a.m. (local time) to exhibit Tai Chi & Qi Gong. The gathering serves to educate the public about the health benefits of Tai Chi and Qi Gong. In past years, events have been held at the United Nations Building and the U.S. Capitol Mall, as well as the capitols of other countries. Each year some 80 countries participate in the event. World Tai Chi & Qi Gong Day is free and open to the public, and all levels of experience are welcome.
