NEWS RELEASE October 4, 2005 Pacific College's Chicago Campus Reaches Out to Assist Hurricane VictimsChicago - Pacific College 's Chicago campus will be hosting a fundraising event to aid Hurricane victims on Sunday October 9 th , from 9 am - 5 pm. Chicago is offering acupuncture and massage therapies at a discounted rate on this day to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. In response to the wide spread devastation left by both Hurricane Katrina and Rita, Habitat for Humanity recently launched "Operation Home Delivery" a three-phase response to aid people rebuild their lives and their homes in New Orleans and elsewhere along the Gulf Coast. Treatments available on Sunday include massage or Asian body therapy for $20, as well as Auricular acupuncture which aids in stress reduction, smoking cessation and weight management for $15. Both treatments are on a walk in basis. Acupuncture treatments will be available by appointment only and will cost $30 for a one-hour session.
