PCOM to Provide Free Acupuncture Consultations at Earth Fair 2004


WHO/WHAT:
Interns from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine will be providing free tongue and pulse consultations at Earth Fair 2004. Certificated for $10 acupuncture treatments redeemable at the college’s clinic will be available to new patients. Admissions counselors from the college will also be on site to provide information on the college’s acupuncture and massage programs.

Sunday, April 25, 2004
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

WHERE:
Balboa Park – Health Pavilion

WHY:
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine is one of the largest and most prominent colleges of Traditional Oriental Medicine in the nation. In addition to community events like Earth Fair, Pacific College interns work at multiple locations throughout the San Diego area, including UCSD and San Diego Hospice, providing free and low-cost health care to the public. The college was one of the few recipients of the National Institutes of Health Office of Alternative Medicine’s original research grants.
