Chief Operating Officer Appointed to Pacific College Chicago Campus

Pacific College is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Min Young Park as Chief Operating Officer of Pacific's College of Oriental Medicine’s Chicago campus. Park, who holds a Bachelors Degree emphasizing Asian American Studies from UCLA, brings a wealth of experience and insight to Pacific College-Chicago.

Park’s career in the field of Oriental medicine education began in 19997, when she was hired as an Admissions Counselor at the college’s San Diego campus. After a short term in San Diego, she moved on to become the Senior Admissions Counselor at the college’s New York branch. In April 2000, Park became the Director of Admissions and Student Services for Pacific’s then new Chicago campus.

This most recent appointment for Park involves duties such as overseeing the growth and development of the administrative aspect of the college’s Chicago branch, assisting in lobbying efforts for acupuncture legislation in Illinois, and establishing long term budget goals, while still acting as the campus’s Director of Admissions.

Ms. Park’s appointment comes at an important time in the college’s development. Currently, Pacific College is undertaking a number of major projects; the most significant of which is the launching of its Doctoral program in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
