Pacific
Symposium 2002
WHO/WHAT:
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine will host its 14th annual Pacific
Symposium. Speakers will include Ted Kaptchuk, Giovanni Maciocia, Felice
Dunas, Janet Zand and many more! A sampling of workshops include: Treatment
of Cancer and Depression with Chinese medicine; Taoist Sexuality; Herb-Drug
Interactions; Complementary and Integrated Medicine; and Enhancing Athletic
Performance with acupuncture.

The Symposium will also feature three post-Symposium workshops on November
11-12.

WHY:
Since 1989, Pacific Symposium has been an annual destination for Oriental
medicine practitioners and students, medical doctors, nurses, and other
medical professionals from around the globe. The largest national continuing
education event of its kind, Pacific Symposium hosts many of the biggest
international names in the field of Oriental medicine. This year’s
Symposium speakers will blend traditional Eastern medicine with the health
