All too often practitioners resort to using Western Medical psychiatric disease categories when facing mental-emotional problems in their patients. In frustration, they also often use modalities other than Chinese Medicine in these situations. This seminar will empower practitioners and students alike with the diagnostic and treatment tools they will need to feel confident when encountering complicated mental-emotional problems in clinic. We will look beyond the common tricks of using yintang, the Four Gates, and Xiao Yao San and delve into the rich history and clinical effectiveness of the Classics.
