I am currently in the application process for a gorgeous two-floor apartment in Fort Greene, Brooklyn and am looking for a great roommate to apply with me. The apartment has a back patio/small yard, washer-dryer, and parking space in the back. Hardwood floors, two bathrooms, beautiful eat-in kitchen and large living room. Top of the line appliances. Both bedrooms are good sized. Rent would be $1000 per month, utilities not included. This would include usage of the gated parking space in the back, since I don't have a car. Because I know the current occupants, I have been given the option to apply before it's made publicly available. However, I need a roommate first. Move in date is October 15/November 1st.

I am busy and out of the house often, but like a clean, comfortable and friendly common space when I am home. I need a roommate who enjoys the same and is also busy. No heavy partying in the house. I am ok with smokers- just no smoking inside the house. I would prefer to live with another woman or a gay man.
