I am a female student in the MSTOM program at PCOM-NY. I have a large 2-bedroom rooftop apartment with a wrap around terrace on 162nd Street and the Grand Concourse. The building has a doorman, dentist and chiropractor on its premises, and is a two-block walk to the D, B, and 4 trains. I am looking to share the space with a responsible, clean roommate and am wiling to go on a semester to semester basis beginning in August 2011 or starting in the Fall 2011 semester.

The shared Space includes a full kitchen** with new appliances, a foyer dining room area, and access to semi private rooftop deck (we share with our next door neighbor). Any one who likes gardening is very welcome ☺.

Your private space includes your own living room or study (whichever you chose to turn the space into). This is a separate room from your bedroom and has new flooring, a Northern-facing window that stretches across one entire wall, comes furnished with a bookshelf and a dresser/cabinet. Unfortunately however our refrigerator is also in this room so I'd need access to it from time to time.

Your bedroom is small/cozy, has a loft bed, AC and private bathroom w/shower. It also comes furnished with built in bookshelves, a dresser and a double mattress on the loft bed.

The apartment building is across the street from a small park, and within a 10 minute walk to a sports arena which offers tennis courts, an indoor/outdoor track, baseball field, weight equipment etc. This is an establishment attached to the new Yankee Stadium. Also within a 5 min drive or 20 minute walk there is a newly built Mall which homes Staples, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, Home Depot, Target, and a few others. Laundry facilities are in the building; food shopping is within a 2-3-block walk. Travel time to PCOM on the D or 4 express trains is about 35 minutes.

The rent is 1050.00, which includes Wi Fi. We'd split the cost of Gas and Electric.
