Beautiful Treatment Studio in Williamsburg Brooklyn Looking for Exceptional Acupuncturist - Herbalist - Healer


Treatment by Lanshin is an innovative and cutting edge treatment studio that providesacupuncture, treatment facials and massage services in a gorgeous storefront setting.

We desire to nurture exceptional healers and practitioners of acupuncture and Chinesemedicine by providing a working environment where practitioners can focus on their practice and building their skill set. The studio will take care of client scheduling, payments, insurance processing, and other business operations and marketing.

We are a team-oriented environment that allows practitioners to learn from each others’ strengths, and allows you to focus on your healing craft rather than administrative operations.

Ideally we are looking for acupuncturists with some experience and an existing client base. Pay is per patient – this is not a room rental arrangement.


THIS POSITION IS FOR YOU IF:

- You are trained/certified in both acupuncture and herbal therapy.

- Ideally, you have a minimum of 2-3 years experience.

- If you are a newly graduated TCM practitioner, you have experience in other forms of bodywork, like massage.

- You love your work, but dislike the business and administrative aspects of running a practice.

- You are confident about what you know and your skills, but you are also open to learning new techniques and material, especially those that reflect the Lanshin brand of treatment.

- You enjoy working with other practitioners as a team, a core value of the practice.

- You understand yourself to be a facilitator of healing and transformation first and that acupuncture and Chinese medicine are your tools.

- You have an easy going manner that puts others at ease. People gravitate toward you for your friendly and bright personality.

- You know how to have fun and not be over serious about healing work. You feel lightness and fun is important in the healing equation.

- You know how to listen.

- You are self aware. You have pursed and continue to pursue personal (or spiritual) development and healing for you. Your own personal healing journey is a resource for your healing work on others.

- You communicate well and have a knack for making foreign or difficult concepts easy to understand. You are good at articulating relevant principles of Chinese medicine and healing with existing and potential clients.

- You are bright and sharp, but also intuitive and empathic.

- You are detail oriented, focused and mindful.

- You enjoy treating the usual ailments - pain and internal disorders - as well as aesthetic treatments, i.e. acupuncture facials, treatments for hair/scalp, weight loss, skincare.

- You are willing to work weekends.


THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR YOU IF:

- You are entrepreneurial and can only thrive when you create, build and manage your own show.

- You want a side or temporary job while you start your own practice.

- You are not open to direction or guidance in your practice.

- You have problems staying true to your commitments and agreements.

- You tend to always run late. You are often late because of a delayed train or unexpected issue that wasn't your fault.

- You have difficulty disengaging from personal life issues that affect your workand/or ability to focus.
