How to Apply for Financial Aid
If you are a New Student
2007-2008
Students Admitted to the Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine ar eligible to apply for federal student aid to assist with their educational costs. For more information on the types of aid available, please refer to the Financial Aid Bulletin
For students starting in Fall (September) 2007, Winter (January) 2008 or Spring (May) 2008 you must complete each of the following:
- If you have not already done so, apply for a federal PIN number from the U.S. Department of Education.

If you have a federal PIN number but have forgotten it, you can ask to have it sent to you from the PIN website.

- Complete the 2007-2008 Free Application for Federal Student Aid

Each Pacific College campus has its own unique federal code. Please use the appropriate code for the campus you plan to attend.

The 2008-2009 FAFSA is for students planning to start Fall 2008.

- All new students and students returning from a semester break must complete Loan Entrance Counseling prior to the receipt of the first disbursement of the loan. Your loan funds will not be processed until proof of having done so is received by our office.

- If you have not received a federal Stafford Loan or want to change lenders you have several choices of lender. We have listed some major lenders you may choose, or you may select another lender of your choice. At this time, these lenders pay the origination fees. This can change at any time. Complete the Master Promissory Note for the lender of your choice by completing the application on-line either from one of the links or by going directly to the website of the lender of your choice.

If you choose a different lender, please be sure to include the lender code on the certification form. If the lender cannot process to our school electronically (most can) for speed of processing, we may ask you to consider a different lender.

Important: In order to expedite the processing of your financial aid, please complete the above steps in a timely manner, read instructions carefully, fill out forms completely and respond to requests for information as promptly as possible. Also keep Pacific College updated on your current address and phone numbers.
