Pacific College Alumni Profile - Lindsey Seigle:

Lindsey grew up in Houston and received her undergraduate chemical engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Arizona State University. After working as a chemical engineer in the microelectronics industry, Lindsey realized her true calling was in the field of alternative medicine. She began attending Pacific College in San Diego, where she graduated in December 2004.

Lindsey is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist at the Acupuncture Healing Center, located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Lindsey believes in individualizing each treatment so her patients receive exactly the right acupuncture and herbal prescription unique to their condition. Her mission, she says, is to reduce pain and any other symptoms that interfere with a patient's quality of life.

Her specialties are injury or repetitive motion pain reduction; amelioration of symptoms of internal medicine, pediatric, and gynecological disorders; relief for the terminally ill from nausea, pain, edema, hiccups, fever and insomnia; and rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions such as stroke or spinal cord injury.

Today Lindsey enjoys the rewarding personal aspects of her new career and seeing the results of her work. She serves on the Board of the North Carolina Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. A faculty member of the Medical Arts Massage School in Raleigh, Lindsey enthusiastically teaches Chinese medicine theory to massage students. She has an office in Chapel Hill where she offers private treatments and community treatments.
