Pacific College Alumni Profile - Kristen Burris:
 Kristen Burris is a recognized practitioner in the field of women's health. Her practice focuses on fertility enhancement, menstrual irregularities and menopausal syndrome. She works with the leading fertility specialists in San Diego and has helped hundreds with her style of Chinese medicine. She is also a professional member of Resolve, a national fertility support group.
Kristen graduated with honors from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. She received her Master's of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has treated patients at San Diego Hospice and the UCSD Free Clinic Project. She was also an acupuncturist for the UCSD Dental Acupuncture Study where her acupuncture techniques were used on dental patients to reduce pain.
Kristen continually reaches out to the public for greater awareness of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. She has been a guest lecturer at UCLA, USD Nursing School, UCSD, San Diego Hospice, Pomerado Hospital, Sharp Hospital and is a guest supervisor and speaker for Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She has also been featured on KPOP radio.
Ms. Burris combines acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, massage, nutritional counseling, Chinese health exercises and moxibustion therapy with her compassionate approach to promote health in her patients. She often receives referrals from and makes referrals to medical doctors. Kristen is licensed nationally and by the state of California to practice acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
Patients of Kristen include medical doctors (including two state award-winners), psychologists, physical therapists, chiropractors and nurses as well as a Women's Baseball Hall of Famer.
