Pacific College Alumni Profile - Karen Rohrbaugh:
Karen Rohrbaugh practices acupuncture at her Bankers Hill clinic, Vitality Acupuncture, located between downtown and Hillcrest, San Diego. The focus of her practice is treating chronic pain and illness, practicing preventative medicine, as well as facial rejuvenation with microcurrent and color light therapy.
Karen's acupuncture experience includes treating patients at San Diego Hospice, San Diego Children's Hospital, the Downtown Seniors' Clinic, the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Clinic, Chengdu, China Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Veterans' Stand Down in Balboa Park and her own clinic.
In addition to her education and training at PCOM, Karen participated in an internship/study abroad program at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. She also completed training for the treatment of pain with microcurrent and color light therapy as well as energy light rejuvenation (facial rejuvenation.) She holds board certification in the State of California as well as nationally.
Prior to practicing Chinese Medicine, Karen was the executive director of a nonprofit organization for six years and worked for the Mayor of San Diego for seven years handling international affairs/diplomacy and special events.
